We’re still reeling somewhat from Ubisoft’s decision to postpone the release of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent until this September. On the flipside, if you can call it that, there’s now many more days for them to tease us with new media – like today.
The first real official batch of Xbox 360 screenshots feature Mr. Fisher attempting to break out of a maximum security prison in a dark rain with what appears to be at least one accomplice, amongst other acrobatic maneuvers. Since of odds of ever seeing a Prison Break game developed from Fox’s hit show are slim to not gonna happen, Sam’s fight with the law could be the next thing.
The first reaction to these screens is they are taken from angles found usually in CG sequences and not in-game so they must be cut-scenes. Even if they are, they do appear to be using in-game graphics and if that’s true, the Splinter Cell franchise could be the best looking 360 game to date when it is finally released.
