This week’s pair of next-gen console games confirmed to have shipped to stores mark the end of the holiday 2006 publishing season for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. They could also be prime examples of the best and worst games have to offer.
‘Pimp My Ride ($49.99),’ already available on Playstation 2 and based on the MTV show, is making its Xbox 360 debut with little fanfare and few expectations. Activision took their time announcing the publishing rights, so you might as well take your time deciding whether hanging with Xhibit is worth checking out.
Electronic Arts is bringing out the big guns with the much-anticipated ‘Fight Night Round 3 ($59.99)’ debut on Playstation 3. The Xbox 360 version took gamers by storm nearly a year ago, so the small handful of people who actually acquired and opened a Playstation 3 over the past couple weeks should be in for a treat.
