Today is Avatar Day and as promised game publisher Ubisoft has released the latest trailer for their video game adaptation of James Cameron’s upcoming film.
The trailer is a mix of cut-scenes and gameplay footage with everything shown rendered in real-time via the in game engine. Based on the footage, it looks as if you’ll be able to play on either the human or Na’vi side and use the vehicles / creatures associated with each.
The Avatar video game trailer is similar to the Avatar film trailer that debuted online yesterday. If you look closely at the game trailer, there are some new beasts and scenes debuting for the first time.
Avatar The Video Game is expected in stores sometime in January for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and other platforms. The trailer was captured from the PS3 or Xbox 360 build.
