About a month ago a blurry low resolution version of the second trailer for Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: Afterlife came online briefly until Sony had it yanked.
Now the trailer has returned in a much clearer version to showcase the myriad of action scenes that throw objects, weapons and people into your face for the 3D effect. You see, Resident Evil: Afterlife was filmed using the same camera system as James Cameron’s Avatar. No post-3D conversion nonsense; it’s the real deal and should in theory be the best looking 3D effort since Avatar. In theory.
Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth film in the ongoing zombie series based on Capcom’s video game series, stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Wentworth Miller and Sienna Guillory. It arrives in digital 3D on traditional and IMAX screens on September 10.
