Saw 3D unsurprisingly finished first at the box office on Friday thanks to the increased price of 3D tickets.
Approximately 93% of Saw 3D’s $10.7 million on Friday came from 3D screens, a boost that almost single-handedly put it above Paranormal Activity 2. Paramount’s strong horror sequel came in second on this Halloween weekend with $5.8 million.
The top 5 on Friday round out with Red taking in $3.4 million, Jackass 3D $3.1 million and Hereafter pulling in $2.1 million. Check back tomorrow for the complete weekend box office results.
