The key ingredients to firing up a game of table tennis are a table, 2 paddles, 2 players and a ball. That didn’t leave much for Rockstar Games’ visual designers to focus on when developing “Table Tennis” for Xbox 360 so they were able to go all out on these few elements.
This new batch of screenshots depicts each player with unique skin texture, blemishes, muscles, outfits, grips and dynamic sweat. They still suffer from artifical glossy skin and bug eyes that continue to plague most digitally rendered humans but otherwise are more than acceptable representations of basement athletes.
How are we supposed to admire these visuals while keeping up with a tiny ball whizzing back and forth? I’m feeling cross-eyed already and haven’t even step foot onto the court, er, floor yet.
