RoboCop Remake Poster Requests Your Move

RoboCop Remake Poster Requests Your MoveThe RoboCop remake from director Jose Padilha has its first poster hot on the heels of the first RoboCop trailer that debuted a few days ago.

Joel Kinnaman strikes an authoritative with the tagline “Your Move //” setting the standoffish tone. He’s wearing the all-black duds that the trailer insinuates is the final RoboCop version design following several prototypes suits that include an homage to the original Peter Weller version.

Whether MGM and Columbia Pictures’ retread of RoboCop for modern audiences with a more palatable PG-13 rating is successful remains to be seen. There’s certainly interest in the project and exposure gained given the first trailer has racked up over 16 million online views and counting since its debut.

RoboCop also stars, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish, and Samuel L. Jackson, and will assault theaters on February 7, 2014.
