Those rumors flying around the web since January attaching Robert Rodriguez to a Predator franchise reboot were confirmed today via an article over at IESB.net.
Yesterday Rodriguez spoke at Troublemaker Studios and made sure to touch upon his upcoming slate of films scheduled to all shoot in Texas while lawmakers signed Texas film-related reform.
Amongst the titles mentioned were Machete which Production Weekly confirmed will begin shooting this June in Austin, Nervewrackers, Predators, Sin City 2 and The Jetsons.
Per IESB.net’s confirmations, Rodriguez will produce and director Predators which will be his unique take on the franchise. The name implies multiple hunters which will likely square off against well armed human military combatants.
