‘Rainbow Six Vegas’ Team Up With Xbox Live Vision Camera

We’ve been foaming at the mouth for months to infiltrate Sin City in ‘Rainbow Six Vegas’ and need no further convincing it’s one of the top releases this holiday season. Ubisoft and Microsoft still has a few tricks up their sleeve to impress us though, and today won a hand against Sony and Playstation 3 with a nifty new exclusive feature announcement.

If you shelled out for the Xbox Live Vision camera recently and have been underwhelmed by the selection of games it supports (and actually works well with), prepare to have your spirits lifted. Ubisoft has teamed with Microsoft and the Xbox 360 Live Vision Camera that will allow you to put your face in the game. Ubisoft states, “Once online, players of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas will be able to push the customization by putting his or her own face on the character using Xbox Live Vision. In just two simple steps, a head-on photo and a profile photo taken with Xbox Live Vision, gamers can create a custom, virtual head for the character that looks exactly like the actual gamer. Once the custom head is completed, players can further customize their online character by choosing weapons, clothing, camouflage and body armor.” Don’t believe us? Check out the accompanying high resolution screenshots.

Maybe we’ll “see” you online sometime next month.
