A new PS4 bundle pre-order has appeared at online retailer Amazon.com during Labor Day weekend sales and PAX, and unlike the previous four bundles offered, it is still in stock and ready to buy. If this PS4 bundle follows in the footsteps of its predecessors then it won’t last long at all.
The PS4 DualShock 4 Bundle is in stock right now at Amazon and priced at $459.99. As the name implies, this bundle adds a PS4 DualShock 4 controller to the basic PS4 package so buyers will have two DualShock 4 controllers ready for use upon receipt. This does not appear to be a specially boxed Sony bundle so the second DualShock 4 controller most likely comes in its own package.
Amazon is listing a November 15 release date for this bundle that indicates it will ship on the console’s launch date. That’s a huge score for buyers as launch day guaranteed PlayStation 4 console pre-orders have been sold out for many weeks now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this new PS4 bundle at Amazon sells out within the next couple days at most. Anticipation for Sony’s next generation console has been soaring over the past few months, and hit a new level when the November 15 release date was revealed at Gamescom a couple weeks ago. All systems are go at Sony for the PS4 arrival and well over 1 million prospective owners and early adopters have already locked in their pre-orders.
Microsoft, meanwhile, has yet to announce a firm release date for Xbox One. Rumors have pegged the release date at either November 8, a week before PS4; November 22, a week after; or November 27, only two days before Black Friday. One of those dates is most likely correct, but Microsoft seems to be in no rush to let the cat out of the bag.
Sony has yet to let Microsoft dictate its plans and this new PS4 DualShock 4 bundle pre-order is further evidence of that. I’d jump all over it myself if I didn’t already have one of the previous PS4 bundle pre-orders locked and loaded.
