Fox has released a new 90-second Prometheus featurette that, while short, does offer some new goodies to get excited about.
Embedded within the new Prometheus featurette are some new footage and interview snippets, along with director Ridley Scott talking about his return to the genre he helped define over 30 years ago with Alien. The featurette calls Prometheus a film “30 years in the making,” yet one more link between Scott’s Sci-Fi bookend films that Fox and the filmmaker continue to insist is not a prequel.
Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green. The Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof-written film touches down in theaters a little over a month from now on June 8.
