Update: Polar Whirlwind, the new GameStop exclusive Skylander Giants figure, was released today at GameStop stores around the U.S. Additionally, you can now buy Polar Whirlwind online at GameStop.com as he is currently in stock and ready to ship.
Polar Whirlwind is one of the final Skylanders Giants color variant figures that has yet to be released in the U.S. That will change on Saturday, June 22 when GameStop holds an “Ultimate Skylanders Festival” that will, amongst other things, feature the debut of the elusive figure.
The Ultimate Skylanders Festival kicks off at 10am at GameStop stores around the country. The first 25 customers to show up will receive a Skylanders poster, most likely for the upcoming Skylanders Swap Force game.
The Polar Whirlwind Skylanders Giants figure will be available for sale, as will the tricky to find Ninjini figure (though she will not be available at all locations; call ahead to find out). Both are in limited quantities so the early bird will certainly get to gobble up the worm.

GameStop is additionally discounting all Skylanders Giants Battle Packs to $9.99 for the entire day, and selling the Skylanders Giants Starter Pack for $39.99.
Any Skylanders Giants purchase made on Saturday will come with a free Sidekicks character. These are the same four Sidekicks that came out last summer and are likely being clearanced out to make room for the upcoming Giants Sidekicks.
