What could be called the first footage from Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Pirates of the Caribbean 4) production has aired on KHON channel 2 in Hawaii where the film is currently being shot.
The short news bit shows a cluster of fans gathered around the docked full-size Queen Anne’s Revenge in Kaneohe Bay. The ship belongs to nefarious pirate Blackbeard and figures to play an important role in the film. A couple seconds of rehearsal footage aboard the ship depict a massive sword fight that will take place at some point in the film.
If you’re expecting to see Johnny Depp or Penelope Cruz then you’ll have to check out these images. The dynamic duo are not currently involved with the fight scene rehearsals going on.
