The first teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will sail into theaters attached to another Disney powerhouse, Tron Legacy.
The news comes from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer via Twitter, of course. “Working to get it done to go in front of TRON, in theaters 12/17,” he tweeted when asked about the trailer’s status from a fan. That’s December 17 for the numerically challenged.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Ian McShane as Blackbeard and Penelope Cruz (and her sister) as Blackbeard’s daughter. Look for it in theaters starting May 20, 2011.
