Assigning street dates to video games has always been a tricky business due to the infinite unknowns that can occur during development. Just ask Rockstar how Grand Theft Auto IV is coming along and what day they think the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 powerhouse will be in stores.
The latest high profile delay isn’t the first for Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Wii exclusive title was originally scheduled to be in stores in early December. Then it was pushed back to February 10. As February approaches, Nintendo has pushed it back once again, this time to March 9.

The reason for the delay is, once again, additional time required to complete development. You’d rather a bug-free game than a patchy workaround, wouldn’t you? If so, then the wait should be worth suffering from additional impatience.
