New GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra media has been few and far between since the Superbowl spot as distributor Paramount focuses its marketing efforts on Star Trek and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The wait for something or anything new will come to an end this Friday as Paramount has confirmed the next full Rise of Cobra trailer will debut online at 4:30PM EST on May 1.
This new trailer will not appear in theaters until a week later when Paramount attaches it to Star Trek. By then we will have all picked through it frame-by-frame to either validate our fears or get excited for, thus far, the ugly ducking of this summer’s big fantasy adventure films.
We’ll have the trailer up for viewing here Friday shortly after Paramount releases it.
