Daryl and Carol share a quiet breakfast moment together in a new still from the upcoming fourth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
The still comes courtesy of TVLine and was accompanied by some additional information regarding the growth of some key characters. What follows should be considered spoiler territory so proceed at your own risk.
Rick has spent the better part of two seasons making tough decisions as leader of the group. With Carl showing signs that his humanity is being stripped away and Judith growing older, Rick will revert more to a father of his children and less a leader of the larger group.
Carl, meanwhile, will strike up a close friendship with Michonne and probably learn to become more of a bad-ass than he already is. And the Governor will resurface at some point, and when he does, he will be “a very different character” than we last saw him per Robert Kirkman.
We’re now only a little more than a month away from The Walking Dead: Season 4 premiere on October 13 at 9/8c on AMC.
