Now that the other “green” superhero movie has debuted, Columbia Pictures is reminding us that Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet is just around the corner via an all-new trailer that launched on the film’s official website and in front of Harry Potter earlier today.
The first Green Hornet trailer from this past summer was heavy on action and light on fun, not exactly the right balance for a film starring Seth Rogen. This new trailer focuses on the unlikely pairing of Kato (Jay Chou) and the Hornet as they come together to pick on each other as much as fight crime. And you thought there was only one gas gun gag in the film.
The Green Hornet also stars Cameron Diaz and hits theaters in January.
