Johnny Depp takes center stage in this new theatrical one-sheet movie poster for Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strander Tides.
The poster ditches the big skull imagery for Depp striking a hero pose as Captain Jack Sparrow. Flanking Depp on either side is a pack of mermaids and a burning ship, likely the Queen Anne’s Revenge.
Elsewhere in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides news, producer Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted a few hours ago that the film has entered the final stages of production.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens May 20 in 3D and 2D. It is directed by Rob Marshall and stars Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, and Geoffrey Rush in addition to Mr. Depp.
