The website NewMoonMovie.org has published a scan from an upcoming issue of People magazine as part of an exclusive first look at The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Like the publicity blast earlier today that saw five promotional shots of Volturi members, this feature is all about the “other” vampires not expected to appear until New Moon’s final act. Think Chris Weitz and Summit Entertainment are trying to reach out beyond Twilight’s fan base and lure newcomers with Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and the other fiery eyed vamps? I do.
Appearing in the new shots from the film are Dakota Fanning as Jane with Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in tow; guard Demetri putting the squeeze on Alice’s throat; and the Volturi leadership looking slightly uncomfortable in their over-sized thrones.
