Mass Effect 3, the last game in the popular BioWare Sci-Fi series, is now on sale for $39.99 from the Microsoft store. Obviously, this is for the Xbox 360 version of the game with Kinect support only. Also included in the deal is free three-to-seven day shipping.
The retail price for Mass Effect 3 is $59.99. You may find it a few bucks cheaper by looking around, but certainly not for the $20 off price Microsoft is currently offering.
At this time there is no word on how long this sale is going to last. Availability has been spotty over the past 24 hours with the game jumping back and forth between in and out of stock. Persistence will be the key to scoring a copy at a great price.

It was also announced earlier today that BioWare will be tweaking the now-controversial ending of the game to give players “more closure,” according to Dr. Ray Muzyka on his blog on the BioWare website.
The new ending will be available in a future game update, so if you want to get to the original ending, now is the time to do so. Thanks to the Microsoft store, it’s now cheaper to do it.
