EA Sports’ Madden NFL 25 will not arrive in stores or mailboxes until just before the NFL regular season kicks off, but already sales for the pricey special 25th Anniversary Edition with some amazing NFL Sunday Ticket perks are soaring at Amazon.com.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Madden football video games, EA Sports have created a special Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 priced at $99.99 each that is exclusive to Amazon.com. For the extra $40 over the non-anniversary edition you get a 17-week Madden Ultimate Team pack subscription, $10 off DirecTV for a full year for current non-subscribers, and one year of NFL Sunday Ticket Max at no additional cost. Those currently with DirecTV and Sunday Ticket Max get access to those services via a laptop, computer or mobile device. Anyone without access to DirecTV gets an online code to access NFL Sunday Ticket Max for the entire 17-week season online. The retail value of this $99.99 game is more like $400.
As of a couple days ago, Xbox 360 version of Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition is ranked number one on Amazon’s video games bestsellers chart, with the PS3 version ranked second. That beats out recent hot sellers PS4 and Xbox One, a crowning achievement that shows what kind of value the anniversary edition of Madden 225 offers.

The meteoric rise in Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition pre-orders began shortly after this past Sunday’s NFL Hall of Fame Game that was nationally televised on NBC. It seems to have served as a reminder that not only is another Madden football game just around the corner, but so is the NFL regular season and a ton of games that will all be available on Sunday Ticket Max.
The $59.99 standard and $99.99 25th Anniversary editions of Madden NFL 25 will be available to fire up at home 18 days from now.
