EA Sports wants you to have an early crack at their new Infinity Engine that debuts in Madden NFL 13 via the game’s demo that became available for free download earlier today on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
The Madden NFL 13 demo offers two different match-ups to choose from. The first is a recreation of the 2012 NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants. This match features the brand new Nike uniforms that debut this year.
The second game option is the Seattle Seahawks versus Washington Redskins with both teams wearing the throwback classic Nike jerseys. This is a chance for Skins fans to get their hands on the digital version of Robert Griffin III and put the rookie quarterback’s skills to the test.
New things to look for in the Madden NFL 13 demo are the new commentary team of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz; new gameplay features such as Ball Hawk and Total Control Passing, and the Infinity Engine which promises “no two plays will ever look or feel the same.”
The full version of Madden NFL 13 hits stores on August 28 for Xbox 360 with optional Kinect support, Playstation 3, Wii and Playstation Vita. A Wii U version is scheduled for release during Nintendo’s new console launch window later this year.
