It took less than a day for Matthew Wilder to find his new Linda Lovelace after Lindsay Lohan was cut loose for reportedly being able to commit to a shooting schedule in lieu of her issues with substance abuse.
The quick hiring of Malin Ackerman, whom most of you will recognize as the hot ass-kicking lady from Zach Snyder’s Watchmen, either proves Lohan’s talents for the role were interchangeable or Ackerman is just that good of an actress. We may find out more from Wilder tomorrow which was when the director who once stood by Lohan through thick and thin was originally going to announce Ackerman before news of her hiring leaked to the web.
With a new lead in place who doesn’t have to work around a rehab schedule or hangovers, Wilder is now convinced shooting on Inferno will get underway sometime in the first quarter of next year.
