The six-year old Lego Star Wars video game franchise will expand beyond films and into television next month with the release of Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars.
Earlier today Entertainment Weekly debuted the trailer for this foray into the Clone Wars. From it we can deduce that the game will begin during the climatic battle on Geonosis from Attack of the Clones, a battle that will feature a “lot” of cute little bricked Jedi and droids battling it out. It’s also clear that the narrative will pass through several episodes from the show and feature many characters and creatures unique to the show such as the giant Zillo beast.

Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars will be in stores March 22 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Nintendo Wii and DS.
