It’s black, mysterious, and appropriately evil. Behold the Kaos Trap for Skylanders Trap Team as officially revealed by Activision and Toys For Bob today via social media.
Activision wasted no time in revealing that a Kaos Trap existed and Kaos would be playable in Skylanders Trap Team having spilled the beans in the Trap Team announcement trailer. Today’s look at the Kaos trap is the first clean look we’ve had, and it definitely looks like something every Portal Master will be yearning to own.
There is still much we don’t know about the Kaos Trap other than you can take control of Kaos. Will the Kaos Trap only work in certain areas of the game? Will it be possible to battle Kaos as Kaos using the Trap? That one is highly unlikely, but worth pondering regardless.
We also don’t know what powers Kaos will have at his disposal when he becomes playable. Most of his powers from previous games have derived from a MacGuffin that he has painfully and temporarily secured. So what exactly is Kaos capable of? Whatever it is will hopefully be deliciously evil.
Look for much more to be revealed about Skylanders Trap Team at E3 in a couple weeks including new Trap Team Skylanders, new core Skylanders, and of course new Traps, all accompanied by a new trailer and imagery.
