The crew over at HDAddicts.com have received word Jerry Maguire starring Tom Cruise is returning to Sony’s Blu-ray release schedule and will arrive in stores on September 9.
Sony had originally announced Jerry Maguire was slated for a Blu-ray bow nearly ago, pegging a December 2007 or January 2008 arrival. Without warning it was pulled from the schedule and sent to release date purgatory along with Glory and countless others.
The delay will likely mean Jerry Maguire will sport 5.1 Dolby TrueHD uncompressed audio rather than 5.1 PCM uncompressed which was standard for the studio up until a few months ago.
Because Sony has not made an official announcement for Jerry Maguire on Blu-ray, this information should be considered subject to change until confirmed by the studio.
