Lethal Weapon 4K UHD Steelbook Loaded for June 24th Release

After previously thought to be arriving in May, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have finally set a June 24th release date for the debut of Richard Donner’s Lethal Weapon 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital in standard and Steelbook packages. Both will include the theatrical and 7-minute longer director’s cut.

The first film starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover as Riggs and Murtaugh, respectively, will be presented in 4K UHD with HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.

Both the physical media and Digital releases will include two all-new bonus features:

  • A Legacy of Inspiration: Remembering Richard Donner
  • “I’m Too Old for This…”

Lethal Weapon was written by Shane Black and also stars Gary Busey.

There’s currently no word on if or when the Lethal Weapon sequels will also make their way to 4K UHD.
