The highly anticipated Hot Toys Man of Steel Superman1:6 scale figure based on the likeness of Henry Cavill as seen in Zack Snyder’s new film has been revealed and is already up for pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles.
Superman is the 200th figure in the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series (MMS 200) and looks to be a worth figure for the designation. His head sculpt is a spot-on representation of Cavill that looks ready to take on General Zod at a moment’s notice. Speaking of Zod, he’s rumored to eventually appear in the Hot Toys 1:6 scale action figure line as well.
The Hot Toys Superman figure from Man of Steel includes the Cavill head sculpt and full Superman outfit with cape and boots, an all-new muscular body with over 30 points of articulation (likely not pictured as it’s doubtful the new body was ready for this reveal), a pair of relaxed palms, a pair of fists for flying or punching, a pair of open palms, and a pair of holding palms. The figure will sit atop an inclusive diamond-shaped base that depicts the movie logo.
Given that there are no real accessories included with Superman, Hot Toys has created a 1:1 scale Kryptonian Command Key that is also included in the package.
