It’s possibly the biggest single videogame launch of all time. Records will fall. Wallets will fatten.
Yet reports across the Internets are claiming the Playstation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV, and to a lesser extent the Xbox 360 version, is doomed. Forum posters are screaming that the game is crashing either during or after the first cut-scene requiring a complete reset of the console to set things straight.
Is this the Bully debacle all over again? Or are only a small number of “bad” discs affected? Before condemning anyone, we’ll await and official response from Rockstar who is certainly monitoring the situation closely.
In the meantime, we still recommend you blow off work and snatch up a copy of GTA IV immediately. Thank us later.
