G.I. Joe: Retaliation, or G.I. Joe 2 for short, is getting its big reveal on Entertainment Tonight this evening.
Director Jon M. Chu broke the news on Twitter last night, calling what will be airing an “exclusive first look.” Usually that means some split-second shots from the set, which in this case is down in New Orleans, Louisiana, coupled with annoying E.T. voiceover on top. It’s still a bit early for an official teaser trailer, but we might get one by year’s end.
GI Joe: Retaliation brings back Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Arnold Vosloo and Byung-hun Lee, and adds in newcomers Ray Stevenson as Firefly, Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, Elodie Yung as ninja Jinx, Joseph Mazzello as Mouse, D.J. Cotrona as Flint, and Bruce Willis as Joe Colton.
Look for GI Joe: Retaliation in theaters on June 29, 2011.
