Online retailer Amazon.com is offering up the best Playstation 3 and Blu-ray console deal to show up this month.
For “a limited time,” anyone who purchases a PS3 80GB console sold directly by Amazon will receive a *free* DualShock 3 wireless controller which sells for $43 individually.
This is on top of the $10 Amazon shaved off the price of this same PS3 model last week. Add up the savings and that’s more than $50 that never has to leave one’s wallet.

The deal does not apply to the 160GB model which also saw its price drop last week from $499.99 to $479.99.
The deal should help move inventory as we round the corner into summer and towards fall where new skus may become available. More information should become available at E3 next week.
