This morning I noticed Joss Whedon’s Firefly: The Complete Series had vaulted to the number spot on Amazon’s hourly Blu-ray bestsellers chart. The reason? They knocked the price down to $27.99 which is a far cry from the $89.98 SRP.
Those of you looking for some insight into what Whedon might bring to The Avengers film might want to give Firefly a try, assuming you haven’t seen it already. The “cowboys in space” show starring Nathan Fillion and V’s Morena Baccarin is loads of fun and popular enough for a spin-off film despite Fox giving the show the ax after only one season.
I don’t know how long Amazon will keep this price (probably not long considering how briskly its selling), so if you want in on the deal, act sooner rather than later.
