Last year’s NFL Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl quarterback from the Tennessee Titans Vince Young has been signed as the cover athlete for this year’s ‘Madden NFL 08,’ kicking off what’s sure to be a barrage of Madden news over the next several months. Vince joins a long lineage of cover athletes hoping to break the curse in the 18th iteration of EA’s venerable football franchise.
“It is truly an honor for me to be on the cover of Madden NFL 08, every NFL player dreams of being on the cover,” said Young. “After being named Rookie of the Year and going to the Pro Bowl my first season – this is a perfect way to start my second season in the NFL.”
‘Madden NFL 08’ will be available this fall on all major gaming systems including Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
