In four days on January 25, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to dig into the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo at no extra charge. Playstation 3 and PC owners will have to, at least for the time being, sit this one out.
The demo will put you into a war torn Manhattan in the year 2023 via the ‘Skyline’ map. Using the new-and-improved Nanosuit 2, you’ll have to formulate a plan of attack with your teammates to eliminate your foes from the ground and up above.
Two game modes will be available in the Crysis 2 demo. The first, ‘Team Instant Action,’ is simply two teams going against each other with higher ranks earned based on kills. ‘Crash Site’ is similar to protect the flag, only you’ll be protecting alien drop pods from the enemy instead.
The full version of Crysis 2 is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC on March 22.
