Based off a picture posted this morning on the Call of Duty twitter feed, it appears that zombies will soon be invading the fan-favorite Nuketown map in this fall’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Nuketown, for those who don’t know, is a small multiplayer map consisting of two houses, which stand opposite of each other and a small section of street with abandoned vehicles strewn about. It is modeled after the fake towns that the U.S. government built for their nuclear bomb tests in the southwest desert in the 1950s. There is no place to hide in Nuketown and the map forces the action, which makes for high kill counts and explains the fans love for the map.
Adding zombies to Nuketown, in such a tight confined area, should make for some intense and possible scary notions.
Seeing as Nuketown 2025 is a pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Activision has not said if this mode is also part of the bonus, or additional DLC that can be added on. One thing is for sure: There goes the neighborhood.
