Disney Interactive will be releasing their ambitious game and toy hybrid Disney Infinity on Sunday, August 18. If you happen to live near a Downtown Disney in California or Florida, you can pick up the Starter Pack for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS, Wii or Wii U and start playing two days early.
Disney has announced that the Once Upon a Toy store in Downtown Disney Marketplace will begin selling Disney Infinity and its companion figures, Power Discs and Play Sets beginning Friday, August 16. As a special bonus, anyone who stops by Once Upon a Toy to buy a Starter Pack early will receive a Disney Infinity character figure ($12.99 value) for free.
For everyone else who doesn’t live near Downtown Disney, you can still get the free figure offer by pre-ordering Disney Infinity at Amazon.com. Which free Disney Infinity figure you receive will be entirely your choice. Amazon is including all of the Disney Infinity wave 1 figures as eligible for the free figure promo.
