The first The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 teaser trailer was officially released at midnight last night, attached to every single print of Liongate’s The Hunger Games. With the astounding number of people who stayed up late to catch the first showing of Games, it isn’t surprising that someone recorded the trailer and rushed to throw it up on YouTube.
This short Breaking Dawn Part 2 teaser trailer is mostly about Kristen Stewart’s turn into a vampire, though there’s some Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to round out the powerhouse triumvirate. Stewart has the red contact lenses in place and, as the trailer closes, is in search of a distinct kind of meal.
The Hunger Games was going to put up monster business whether it had the first Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer attached to it or not. The trailer is merely icing on the cake for parent company Lionsgate, who will spend next week counting the cash from their one-two box office punch.
The odds of this Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer being pulled today by Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment lawyers is pretty steep. Get in on watching it repeatedly, if that’s your cup of tea, before it’s gone.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will close the saga when it arrives in theaters on November 16.
