This Friday, EA will release the first official DLC pack for Battlefield 4 titled Second Assault. Xbox One is the exclusive home of Second Assault until EA opens it up to other platforms.
Technically you can run out and purchase Battlefield 4 for Xbox One now as it has already arrived in stores. The Xbox One console isn’t officially released until this Friday, November 22, and that’s the first day EA will make Second Assault available to purchase and download.
Second Assault includes four additional Battlefield 4 maps that will revisit four Battlefield 3 maps that have been upgraded to take advantage of the new Frostbite 3 engine. They will certainly look and run better, as they should considering the new hardware and 64-player simultaneous multiplayer modes.
