2K Sports has been unusually quiet about their (hopefully) triumphant return to football video games this summer on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Until this morning, we’ve known little about ‘All-Pro Football 2K8’ or what angle 2K Sports would taken given EA has a stranglehold on the exclusive NFL and NFLPA license.
Today 2K Sports announced they’ll be enlisting the services of NFL’s past to anchor ‘All-Pro Football 2K8.’ Some of the “hundreds” of names promised include John Elway, Thurman Thomas, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Ronnie Lott, Mike Singletary and Reggie White. Each star player will be programmed with signature attributes and moves to help identify them out of their former NFL uniforms.
