Activision has announced the huge hit game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be released November 10 on Nintendo Wii.
The release date should sound familiar as that is when Modern Warfare 2 deploys onto Xbox 360 and PS3. No matter which console you own, some flavor of Modern Warfare will be available.
Developer Treyarch is handling the port of Modern Warfare from next-gen consoles to Wii. Their most complex task will be toning down the visuals to run properly on Wii without losing the game’s distinct visual flair.
The announcement makes no mention of whether Zombie Mode will be unlockable on Wii when the campaign is beaten. Excluding Zombie Mode from the port, barring an impossible to overcome disc space issue, would be a mistake given its popularity and replay value.
