1984 A Nightmare on Elm Street to Slash Blu-ray

Warner and New Line will bring the original 1984 Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street with Robert Englund and Johnny Depp to Blu-ray Disc on April 6.

The release is timed with Samuel Bayer’s remake set for release on April 20. Jackie Earle Haley will don Freddy’s glove for the first time.

Nightmare on Blu-ray will be offered in its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. A host of bonus features will be included, some of which have been made accessible while watching the film.
