New Jurassic World Poster Opens the Park for Business

Universal Studios has released a new Jurassic World poster that foreshadows something dark and ominous is coming our way. It also states “the park is open,” reflecting the reopening of Jurassic Park as a revamped, more robust and supposedly more secure Jurassic World park.

The Jurassic World movie poster is completely void of color unlike the original film whose piercing logo was lined with red and yellow.  The dinosaur depicted does appear identical to the same skeletal remains seen in the original film’s logo.

By releasing a new Jurassic World logo, we could be drawing close to the arrival of our first teaser trailer and, hopefully, the first publicly released footage from the film. Universal had reportedly been test screening a trailer with lots of footage, but those accounts were only echoed online in a single, rambling YouTube video that was quickly pulled.

In other words, keep those eyes peeled for the first Jurassic World trailer.

Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Judy Greer and Bryce Dallas Howard. It munches into theaters on June 12, 2015.
