We were all touched by Daily Ridley’s heartfelt reaction to watching the new full Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens trailer for the first time. As Master Yoda would slyly exclaim, “there is another,” and that other is none other than Ridley’s co-star, John Boyega.
I became a John Boyega fan after thoroughly enjoying writer/director Joe Cornish’s Attack the Block on Blu-ray back in October 2011. If you haven’t seen the Sci-fi horror-comedy then I highly recommend you give it a watch for some clever alien invasion sport.
That role no doubt helped Boyega score the part of stormtrooper deserter Finn after auditioning for J.J. Abrams and the other Star Wars: The Force Awakens decision makers. Like Ridley, Boyega is not yet a household name and he was more than willing to let himself be filmed watching the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer for the first time ever the same time we did.
A clever YouTuber took Boyega’s classic reaction that I rank up there with Tom Cruise’s couch jumping episode and superimposed it on top of the trailer. Watch and enjoy.
