JJ Abrams Responds to Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Hate

It’s sad that the world has come to this, but earlier today a massive Internet trolling episode took place where some idiotic people started a Twitter trend to boycott Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens because of its anti-white cast. Clearly these fools had nothing better to do.

With the new trailer debuting during ESPN Monday Night Football tonight, director and co-writer JJ Abrams chose to subtly address the bigots with an awesomely worded note of encouragement on his signature letterhead. Thankfully the trending boycott Star Wars hashtag had been replaced well before the trailer is scheduled to debut by a more appropriate Star Wars hashtag.

Here’s the Star Wars: The Force Awakens note from JJ Abrams, posted less than an hour before the trailer’s worldwide premiere.

Expect the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer to appear on the Star Wars YouTube channel almost immediately after debuting on TV.
