Food Fight has emerged as one of the more divisive new characters in Activision’s Skylanders Trap Team game. Some think the little artichoke-inspired foodie is absolutely adorable as he totes around a tomato-blasting cannon. Others feel the design is too cutesy for the Skylanders lore, and those folks probably don’t fall into the game’s main target demographic that skews much younger than older.
Whether you love him or hate him, Food Fight is the star of a new short Skylanders Trap Team trailer that could end up airing on TV. Played entirely as a cinematic, the little green guy takes on tough guy villain Gulper, defeats him, and then Gulper makes the trip to our world and back as a good guy.
The rest of this new Skylanders Trap Team trailer is a collage of gameplay footage including what looks like our first glimpse of the final b0ss fight against the villain Wolfgang. Then the camera quickly flies through a collection of Skylanders figures, but I can’t pick up on any that haven’t already been revealed.
