Skylanders Trap Team Wave 4 will start arriving in stores any day now and I managed to get my hands on a collection of high resolution images for the upcoming wave as well as most of the new figures and Easter-themed releases.
The big surprise in Wave 4 is the inclusion of single pack versions of Light and Dark Element Trap Masters Knight Light and Knight Mare, respectively. These two were in their respective Light and Dark Element packs that have been near impossible to find at retail for almost three months. Now each Trap Master gets their own release, but there’s no telling if more Elemental Packs with the added chapters will ship out.
The new Skylanders Trap Team Wave 4 Trap Master figures are Thunderbolt (Air) and Short Cut (Undead). Short Cut is my favorite of the two and the texturing on his hood is top notch quality as you would expect from the folks at Toys For Bob.
Blackout and Spotlight highlight the new single pack figures. They are joined by fan-named High Five and Bat Spin, as well as Echo and Rocky Roll. I like Rocky Roll in this bunch, but I have a feeling kids will gravitate toward Echo. At least both of mine did.
On the minis front we’ll see the release of Whisper Elf and Barkley, as well as Breeze and Pet Vac. A pair of new Trap triple packs are also on the way. And YES, that is the elusive Kaos Trap in one of the new triple packs.
