MLB 14 The Show PS4 Confirmed and Teased with Featurette

MLB 14 The Show PS4 Confirmed and Teased with Screens and FeaturetteSony has confirmed the obvious by announcing this spring’s MLB 14 The Show will be coming to PlayStation 4 in addition to PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The announcement was made on MLB.TV and was accompanied by some screenshots and a video that discusses the goals for the PS4 version.

The biggest MLB 14 The Show PS4 reveal is that the game will be “feature full.” In other words, every game feature including Franchise, Exhibition, Road to the Show and more will be present and accounted for on PS4. No feature available on PS3 or Vita will be left off the next-gen version. Even the folks at 2K Sports would have to applaud that move.

As you can imagine the visuals for the PS4 version of MLB 14 The Show will surpass anything seen in the current generation. Everything is being built from the ground-up with next-gen in mind. An example offered is that while the PS3 version can handle 42 different fan models in the crowd, that number will leap north of 1,000 on PS4.
