The Evil Within: The Assignment DLC Release Date and New Trailer Drops

Bethesda Softworks has announced The Evil Within: The Assignment DLC release date is set for March 10, 2015, and a trailer for this first of three The Evil Within DLC packs from director Shinji Mikami is now out and ready for you to soak up its ambiance, terror and gore below.

The Evil Within: The Assignment is the first of a two-part story where players assume the role of new playable character detective Juli Kidman, the partner of Sebastian Castellano. She’s mysteriously absent during the events of the main game and this DLC story, which runs concurrently with the core story, will answer the questions regarding here whereabouts , struggles, and unlikely motivations.

The second half of this new story, The Evil Within: The Consequence, is tentatively scheduled for “later this spring.” I would anticipate it to arrive in either April or May at the very latest.

Both of these new The Evil Within DLC packs are part of the Season Pass so if you’ve already purchased that for $19.99, you’re set. Purchasing each of the three The Evil Within DLC packs for Xbox One, PS4 or the PC will cost $9.99 for each. The third DLC pack, The Evil Within: The Executioner, has not yet been dated.

Bethesda Softworks will be live streaming The Evil Within: The Assignment on http://Twitch.TV/Bethesda beginning Friday, March 6 at 4pm EST.
