Disney Infinity Star Wars: The Force Awakens Figures Scatter on Road Following Truck Accident

This past holiday weekend triggered many vehicle accidents around the country, but one in particular gave bystanders an inside look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys not due in stores for a few more weeks.

Per a report by KFOR in Oklahoma, a semi-truck lost control on a bridge and ended up on its side. Thankfully there was only one personal injury as a result of the accident and that person is expected to make a full recovery. The Force was strong with them.

Part of the truck’s cargo scattered on the road and the damaged boxes revealed a familiar face to anyone that has seen even a glimpse of the massive Star Wars: The Force Awakens promotional push. Boxes full of Disney Infinity 3.0 Poe Dameron figures were cracked open and tossed onto the slick bridge.

The Force Awakens figures for Disney Infinity 3.0 aren’t due in stores until December 18 when the hotly anticipated film debuts in theaters. Clearly the product is already on its way to distribution centers around the country as evidenced by this mishap.

Hopefully the figures with damaged packaging will be opened up and donated to charity.
